Hi, there!
Welcome back to planDisney, Catherine. I'm so glad to hear you're planning another visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! There's no place I'd rather be, that's for sure.
As a mom of three, I always place a grocery order to be delivered to our Disney Resort hotel. The last thing I need on vacation is a "hangry" kiddo! I usually order bottled beverages, snacks, fresh produce, on-the-go breakfast items, and theme park essentials like sunscreen and hand sanitizer. The less I need to pack in my luggage, the better! There are lots of delivery services available like Instacart or Amazon Prime Now, but I've only ordered groceries from Garden Grocer, an Orlando-based delivery service. Ordering from Garden Grocer is super easy. Just select a delivery date and time, add items to your online cart, and then check out! Garden Grocer, and other delivery services, will drop your order off with Bell Services at your Disney Resort hotel. Bell Services will refrigerate any perishable items for you, so don't hesitate to order produce or dairy products! When you're ready for your groceries, you can just swing by Bell Services to pick them up or you can call to have your order delivered to your room.
It's important to note that if you choose to have your order delivered directly to your room, you'll need to be present for the delivery and you'll be charged a $6 delivery fee that will be added to your room folio (that price is subject to change at any time). Be sure to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app before your arrival. It's magic at your fingertips! This app has lots of cool features, but I especially love that I can use it to place
mobile food and beverage orders in
and out of the theme parks. Talk about convenience!
I hope this was helpful, Catherine. I'm wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Ashley
