Hey there, Karen. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
Having snacks and drinks delivered to your
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel is a great idea. It's nice to be able to have some water available throughout the day and save some money on snacks as well. There are several grocery services that will deliver to the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. Garden Grocer is a common name you'll hear when researching options because they have been delivering groceries to the Walt Disney World area for over 15 years. I've personally used this service and love it. They are a very reliable company to use. Garden Grocer has a very easy website to use and has over 5,000 products to choose from. If you do decide to use Garden Grocer, you'll create an account, do your online shopping, let them know which resort to deliver to and when and that's it. When your groceries are delivered, Bell Services will hold on to them until you pick them up. If you have cold items, those will be stored in a refrigerator for you. There will be a small convenience fee due to the resort of about $6.00 for you to have the groceries delivered there. If you don't want to carry the groceries up to your room yourself, someone from Bell Services will be happy to do this for you.
If you decide not to have groceries delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort, you will find some snacks, drinks and necessities in your resort's gift shop. I've picked up a few things here and there for my room before and have always been pleased with the options. I should mention that right now, due to current circumstances, eating and drinking while in lines for attractions is
currently prohibited. To eat or drink at Walt Disney World, you must be physically distanced from other people and completely stationary. I wanted to mention this because I noticed on my last trip, my family and I barely touched the snacks we packed for the parks. We were too busy bouncing from attractions to attraction to stop and have a granola bar. So you probably could get away with ordering less food to be delivered than you think. Just something I wanted to mention.
I hope this helps, Karen. If you need anything else while planning your Walt Disney World vacation, please do come back and
ask me. Enjoy!
