Can we have groceries delivered to our cabin in the Fort Wilderness property?

    Hi Kelley!

I think you will truly love your stay at the great Fort Wilderness Cabins. They are roomy for the family and they give you a very peaceful place to return to after busy park days.

Each cabin comes fully equipped with all the kitchen items you might need to make simple meals for the family. Each will have a dishwasher, full size refrigerator, and a combination microwave and convection oven. You can certainly order groceries that will be delivered to your cabin for you. You can do this either using the Disney service that is outlined on the above site which uses the items found at the Trading Post or use an outside source and my favorite for this is gardengrocer.com. If using the outside source make sure you order about a month out so you can be certain to get the delivery date you desire since they can only do so many each day. If you are not there they will put the perishables in the frig and freezer for you.

Having groceries delivered allows you to take more time to enjoy vacation. Try to order only what you might need. The Trading Post at the resort is great for the backup pick me up things if you forget something. And when ordering on line be sure you check it before submitting. Once I accidentally ordered 10 pounds of bananas thinking I had ordered just ten bananas!!!! I was giving away bananas to housekeeping and bus drivers and just about anyone I could. I wish I had a picture of my face when entering the cabin for the first time and seeing all these bananas sitting around the kitchen and dining table! It is another great Disney memory.
