Can I have groceries deliver to my resort room?

    Hiya, Ryan! Welcome to planDisney

Are you getting so excited about your Walt Disney World vacation? I can't think of a better way to kick off a new year. That's going to be so much fun.

Ryan, you are able to have groceries delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. You can basically use any outside company you'd like for this. If you are ordering alcohol or any other items that need an i.d. verification, you will need to be present for the drop-off so the driver can verify your age. If you aren't there when the driver arrives, they will not be able to leave those items. I typically try to schedule my delivery for when I am able to be at the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel where I am staying at. I find it much easier that way. If your room is not yet ready, you are able to store your groceries with Bell Services. They do have a refrigerator that you are able to keep your cold items in if you separate those out for them. It's pretty convenient and another reason why I like to be there upon delivery. If you aren't there for delivery, the resort will accept your items for you and store them, although there is a small convenience fee for doing that. When your room is ready, you can call Bell Services from your in-room phone to have them bring your items up to you. This is a complimentary service for you but I always like to have a little cash on hand to tip the Cast Members helping me.

I hope this helps, Ryan. If you have any other questions, please reach back out to me

    Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
