Hey there Elaine,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! It looks like your trip to the Disneyland Resort will be here in about a week - how exciting!
To check what rides are planned to be down for refurbishment for upcoming trips, I've found the best place to look is on the
Hours & Events Schedule on the Disneyland Resort website. This page shows the schedule for about six weeks out from the current date and includes an expandable section near the bottom that shows attractions that are planned to be down for refurbishment on the dates selected.
When looking at this page for June 30 through July 6, the only attraction that I see has planned downtime is
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail! That means that there is not currently any planned downtime for
Grizzly River Run, which is great because this is one of my favorite ways to cool off when visiting during the peak of summer like you are. Not only is it a fun and exciting ride, but you can definitely get soaked!
The Hours & Events Schedule is also a great way to look ahead and start planning out which parades and nighttime spectaculars you'd like to see. I often like to plan to watch a parade one afternoon and then try to take advantage of lighter crowds during the parade times on other days of my visit.
Thanks again for your question, Elaine! I hope you have a wonderful visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
