Ahoy there, Patrice, and welcome to planDisney! A Disney Cruise is a fantastic way to commemorate your son’s very first double-digit birthday, so I can understand why you’d want to bring the entire crew with you to celebrate.
When it comes to booking staterooms, Disney Cruise Line allows you to reserve up to four staterooms online at once. If you’re looking to reserve more than that, a friendly
Disney Cruise Line Vacation Consultant can assist you directly. They’re experts at helping coordinate large groups so you can stay close together and still enjoy all the ship has to offer. I even confirmed this with a Cast Member myself, who was able to make a mock booking
using the filters available online while I chatted with them.
For your party size, there are two basic stateroom categories you’ll want to look out for: Deluxe Family Oceanview Staterooms or Deluxe Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandah, as these can typically sleep up to five Guests. But don’t worry if you don’t remember those details; the Disney Cruise Line website will only display the available staterooms that fit your group size, which makes things much easier. It’s like having a fairy godmother guiding you through the process!
And if you’d like to see a little extra Pixie Dust sprinkled on your vacation, don’t forget to let Disney know you’re celebrating your son’s birthday. You can do this by noting it in the Special Requests section of the “
My Reservations” page after you're booked, or simply chat with a Cast Member who will be happy to add that note for you. You’ll also want to pick up a complimentary birthday button at Guest Services once onboard because there’s nothing sweeter than having Mickey, Minnie, and your fellow cruisers wishing your birthday boy a “Happy 10th”!
Sailing with a large group will turn his big day into an epic party at sea, especially if you end up selecting a
Very Merrytime Cruise. I’m wishing you many magical moments ahead. And if any other questions bubble up in between now and your departure date, I hope you’ll sail back to us here at
planDisney!
Bon voyage,
Sami
