Greetings, I read that the Fuentes del Morro Pool @Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will be closed for maintenance from January 2024 through April 2024. Does this mean that it is scheduled to reopen at the beginning of April 2024 or May 2024?Thanks

Welcome to planDisney Joseph! Thank you for stopping by planDisney for help figuring out if that beautiful feature pool will be available for your visit. You've got a friend in me to help with keeping you cool during your trip.

My family loved the Caribbean Beach Resort when we stayed right before the Disney Skyliner was constructed. The property is absolutely beautiful and your stay will be very island-like. No matter which village you stay in they each have a leisure pool. Fuentes del Morro Pool is the main pool and is going through routine maintenance that is scheduled until April 2024. No specific dates have been announced for the end of the scheduled upkeep. I will have my fingers crossed that your mid-month arrival date will coincide with the re-opening of the main pool. If it does you have to promise me you take a ride on that 102-foot waterslide that makes you feel like a kid again.

This resort is on the Disney Skyliner, this state-of-the-art gondola system gives your resort direct access to Disney's Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at EPCOT. Both of these parks house my top 2 must-do attractions when you visit this year. At EPCOT if you are a thrill-seeker do not miss Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. The coaster rotates 360 degrees to make sure you don't miss any of the action. Hollywood Studios is home to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge where you can transport yourself to Batuu. But if you need help finding your way around do not, I repeat do not ask the Stormtroopers for help. They are a terrible shot but they are still always on the lookout for Resistance sympathizers. Use your Datapad located inside your My Disney Experience App to locate Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. This is not a roller coaster but it will make you wish you were on one to escape Kylo Ren. The good guys always win so you should be fine. If you come back with blaster marks you cannot say I didn't warn you.

If you need any other help with your planning or just some advice or tips come on back to planDisney.com and we will be ready to help.

    Have a magical day,
