Hello Marybelle!
Thank you for visiting us at planDisney with your question about theme park reservations! I am happy to hear that you are planning a Disney summer getaway and you have come to the right place for tips and advice to make the best of your time visiting with Mickey!
Disney Park Pass reservations are now required for all Guests ages 3 and older, in addition to valid theme park tickets. You will need to make a park reservation for each day of your visit and for all members of your travel party. I have just checked
Theme Park Reservation Availability and it seems all parks are still available during the whole month of August, so let’s see if I can help you figure out why you are unable to make your reservations.
The first thing you need to
be sure is that tickets are properly linked to My Disney Experience. If you are planning for other Guests, like children, please add them to your
Family & Friends List. If you are planning with other Guests who already have their own
Disney account, connect to these Guests via the
My Family & Friends List. Once you have added Guests to your list or connected your accounts, you should be able to add them to your party while making Disney Park Pass reservations. Tip: Remind the Guests in your party who have their own Disney account that they need to
sign in to My Disney Experience to confirm that valid tickets are linked to their account. They should also visit
My Family & Friends, select
Update next to your name and confirm that they have selected the option to share all their plans with you.
I hope this information helps you make your reservations, Marybelle! Come back to visit us if you have additional questions and have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
