Greetings! I see that their is currently a Free Dining plan for certain hotels. Is there an option to upgrade $$ from a quick-service to a table service dining plan if staying at a value resort?

    Hi, Allison!

I love the Disney Dining Plan, and I love it even more when it is offered FREE!  If you are staying at a Value Resort with the free Quick Service Plan, you are able to pay the difference to upgrade to the Basic Dining Plan.  When booking your reservation, you will have the option to do so.  Personally, when I am doing the upgrade, I like to book over the phone at (407)W-DISNEY so I know exactly what the cost is to do the upgrade.  My family enjoys having some down-time each day at a leisurely table service meal so jumping to the basic Dining Plan that includes a Table Service meal credit for each night of our stay works out well for us.

I hope you get to take advantage of this great offer!  Have fun planning your magical Walt Disney World vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
