Greetings! Visiting Disney World next month.. so excited. Anyways, I was wondering what would be the fastest way to get from Animal Kingdom to Epcot (for dinner reservations)? I am not renting a car on this trip.. relying on Disney transportation or Uber.

    Hi, Nikki!

To get to Epcot from Animal Kingdom, you can simply hop on a bus! A bus stop will be clearly marked for Epcot. The ride between the two theme parks is about 20 minutes. If you are dining at a World Showcase restaurant, you can also take a bus from Animal Kingdom to Disney's Beach Club Resort then enter Epcot through the International Gateway entrance.

All in, with wait times, walking to the restaurant, drive time, getting through security, please allow 60 - 75 minutes. So if you have a 7:15pm Disney dining reservation, plan to leave Animal Kingdom by 6:00pm. You may be a bit early, but it sure beats rushing last minute.

My family ends up in Epcot a lot of nights because so many of our favorite restaurants are in this park. You just can't beat the pizza at Via Napoli in Italy or the wonderful ambiance at the San Angel Inn in Mexico. Boy, this sure makes me wish I was heading to Epcot for dinner tonight!

Enjoy your magical vacation in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
