Greetings. My son broke is wearing a cast on his left foot. We have reservations to Disney Adventure. Will he be allowed to ride all the attractions without restrictions from the park? Can he use his knee scooter to move around?

Hi Damaris – welcome to planDisney!

I am sorry to hear about your son’s recent foot injury, but hopefully, I can provide you with some information that will help the two of you navigate Disney California Adventure Park, should you decide to visit soon.

The most useful resource for you and your son is the list of ambulatory requirements. On the Disneyland Resort website, you may find the mobility requirements for each attraction. You can view this information on the Disneyland Mobile App as well. As for moving around the resort, your son may use his knee scooter; however, you may also want to consider renting a wheelchair or ECV. Wheelchair and ECV rentals are available just east of the Disneyland Park Entrance.

Enjoy your time at Disney California Adventure Park! And do not forget to explore the newest land there: Avengers Campus. You never know which superhero (or villain) you may encounter there.

    Best wishes,
    Lola
