Hiya Amber! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm happy to hear about your upcoming visit to the
Most Magical Place on Earth! Before you know it, you'll be strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. ready to enjoy all the wonderful experiences that await!
The
Disney Skyliner is my favorite mode of transportation to get around the Walt Disney World Resort. It consistently runs throughout the day (weather dependent), so you are hardly ever waiting to arrive at your destination. From my experience, side-by-side double strollers are not allowed to be wheeled directly onto the Disney Skyliner. I've always been told to break it down before entering the gondola. Single strollers can typically be wheeled on without being broken down, although this will be dependent on their size. I've seen some Cast Members ask Guests to break down their single stroller when it seems like it will not freely enter without obstruction. Remember, the Skyliner is consistently running, so Cast Members will take the proper precautions to ensure that you enter the gondola safely.
One place where you will not need to break down your stroller is on the monorail. Regardless if you have a double or single stroller, you should be able to roll it directly onto the
monorail without many issues. There may be cases where your stroller is too large and breaking it down will be your best option, but I believe this does not happen often.
Amber, since you're traveling with little ones, make sure to utilize the
Baby Care Centers found at each of the theme parks. Many of them were recently renovated and they are the perfect place to quick and quiet pit stop. You can locate them in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App or simply ask a Cast Member to point you in the right direction.
Have a magical time during your stay! Stop back and see us again!
Happy planning!
Greg
