Hello and greetings. Last year I received an email when the Star Wars nights (Anaheim Disneyland) were available for Magic Key holders early access. Will I get the same email notice this year? When will that occur? I am eager to attend the event. Thank you

Bright suns, Lauri! Now this is a question after all of our planner hearts, and we're here for it.

While we know the dates for each Star Wars Nite, we still don't quite know exactly when tickets will go on sale. I tried to channel my inner Ahsoka to see if the Force would reveal any details; however, no such luck. We can always learn from the past though, and here's what I was able to find.

It looks like tickets for Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite went on sale to the general public last year in early February. That means the Magic Key holder sales happened a couple of days before. While I can't say for certain if an email will be sent this year, if one is sent, I imagine it will be within the coming weeks. I also recommend keeping an eye on Disney Parks Blog and following @disneyland and @disneylandmagickey on Instagram for the latest updates and news.

I've attended Star Wars Nite in the past and have had an absolute blast. Being in the park with reduced capacity is something special, not to mention the rare characters that are usually available to meet and greet. You simply never know who you will run into. My favorite encounter was with one protocol droid, the one and only C-3PO, human cyborg relations. He was most certainly the droid I was looking for!

Lauri, while it's not an exact answer, I hope this still gives you an idea of what to look out for as well as an idea of timing. If there's anything else that we can help with in the meantime, please come back to visit us. I'm sending pixie dust your way in the hopes that we hear something soon.

May the Force be with you,
    Michelle
