Greetings! Khalib here, I needed to ask a question. Are mini tripods that can wrap around poles or handlebars allowed in the parks? Like to get cool photos/videos without the other tripods that are allowed.

    Hi Khalib, welcome to planDinsey!

I have good news! According to the Disneyland Resort Rules tripods are allowed at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park! But please make sure that they can fit inside a standard backpack. Also, please ensure that they do not extend over 6 feet (182 centimeters). But while tripods are allowed, please know that selfie sticks and hand-held extension poles for cameras or mobile devices are not allowed at the theme parks.

And speaking of pictures, did you know that you get unlimited Disney PhotoPass Digital Downloads with the purchase of the Disney Genie+ service? Definitely something to consider if you haven’t yet!

    See ya real soon!
