Greetings! Our family of four is planning a visit to DLP in May; with the new annual passes in place this year, I'm wondering what the process is now for upgrading a ticket to an annual pass? Any restrictions on number of days in the ticket? Thanks!

    Bonjour!

A big welcome to planDisney today, Stacey! You have some exciting plans for May with a trip to Disneyland Paris. If you ask me, every day is the perfect day to plan a Disney trip, and yours will be here before you know it! I have been lucky enough to visit all of the Disney Parks around the world, and in my opinion, the beauty of Disneyland Park in Paris cannot be beaten, just wait until you see Sleeping Beauty Castle in person!

The new suite of annual passes is now available, better known as Disneyland Pass. There are four different levels of pass, Bronze One, Bronze Max, Silver, and Gold, each with its own unique benefits and blockout dates. All Disneyland Passes include free parking, but if you are hoping to enjoy one of my favourite perks, merchandise discounts, you will want to look at the Silver or Gold options. Stacey, it is important to know that only a one day ticket can be upgraded to a Disneyland Pass. Tickets included as part of a Hotel + Ticket Package cannot be upgraded.

This is a brilliant year to consider becoming a Disneyland Pass holder, as you will have the opportunity to discover everything on offer at the recently reimagined Disney Adventure World. With the opening of World of Frozen, Adventure Way, and Adventure Bay, there are so many new experiences to enjoy. I am especially looking forward to the brand-new nighttime spectacular, Disney Cascade of Lights over Adventure Bay. With projections on water screens, fireworks, music, and drones, it looks amazing and is performed nightly at park closing.

I hope this helps to answer your question today, Stacey! If you have any other vacation planning questions, please reach out to me. I'd love to help!

    See ya real soon!
