Disneyland Main Street

Greetings Everyone! I have received as a gift a paid in full AP for the Disney resort in January 2020 that has not been activated and expires in December 30, 2020 will it be extended to 2021 or am I aced out?

    Welcome to planDisney, Cindy!

And welcome to the magic of being a Disneyland Resort Annual Passholder. You’re going to love the many benefits that come with your new affiliation with The Happiest Place on Earth. I bet you are looking forward to using that new Annual Passport and start strolling down Main Street, U.S.A., and enjoying a cool DOLE Whip.

I understand the anxious feelings we all have during this time of theme park closures and social distancing. As the Disneyland Resort proceeds with its phased reopening, some aspects of the reopening continue to be in flux. Disney is certainly aware of the uncertainty that Guests just like you are experiencing. Cast Members of the Disneyland Resort are anxious to welcome you to the theme parks as soon as safely possible.

I am hopeful that your unactivated Annual Passport will be usable when the time is right to return to the theme parks. In a best-case scenario, the theme parks will be able to reopen before your Disney eTicket expires so that you may activate it and begin to use your Annual Passport soon. Should things take longer to get back to normal, I have been told by a Cast Member that Disney may plan on extending the expiration date of unused Passports like the special gift you received. Because we don’t yet know when the theme parks will reopen, unfortunately, we will still need to wait a while longer to learn exactly how things will play out. Please keep an eye on the Disneyland Resort website and the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and information. You may also get up-to-date information by speaking with a Passholder Services Cast Member by calling (714) 781-PASS

I’m glad you stopped by, Cindy. I hope you’ll visit planDisney again with any other questions you may have.
