Greetings! 1st Disney trip for my family this Oct but failed to make Hollywood Studios part of package. Have a 2yr old that loves Disney Jr! Tickets are expensive, family of 4 on tight budget. What can I do? Is there a 1 day option for Holly Studios?

    Hi Sonya!

CONGRATULATIONS on taking your first Walt Disney World vacation, magical memories are waiting for you this October!Disney Junior Live On Stage!,located in Hollywood Studios,is definitely a must  do for any Disney Junior fan,my kids and I just adore this show.

Walt Disney World ticketing system is very flexible and you actually have a few options that will be much cheaper than purchasing a 1-day visit to Hollywood Studios.Unless you have purchased a special ticket( through conventions, sports events, etc.),you can add days or options at a fraction of the cost of purchasing a 1-Day ticket.  If your days are limited,I would suggest adding the Park Hopper option to your tickets. The Park Hopper option will allow you to visit multiple parks in one day.For example, you could spend the morning in Magic Kingdom and visit Hollywood Studios in the evening. The price of the Park Hopper option is $59.00 for ages 10+ and $29.50 for children ages 3 to 9.

If you have an extra day to spare for your vacation, you may want to consider increasing the number of days on your tickets. The price of Disney's Magic Your Way tickets per a day actually decreases as you increase the number of days on your ticket. For example, a 5-day base ticket is only $10 more than a 4-day base ticket.  If time allows it, this will be your most budget friendly option to allow you extra days at Walt Disney World in order to visit Hollywood Studios.Keep in mind that no matter how many days are on your ticket, you can only visit one park per a day unless you add the Park Hopper option. If you are on the last day of your vacation and have 2 days left, you will not be able to use that extra day to enter a different park.Just go to any ticket booth located outside of the parks in order to add days or options to your tickets.

I hope this was helpful, Sonya and please let me know if you have anymore questions or need advice.

    Have a magical trip!
