Hi Shardae! Thanks for bringing such a great question to planDisney! Guests visiting during the holiday season often wonder how Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will impact the normal entertainment schedule at Magic Kingdom Park. I’m happy to provide some helpful information as you continue planning for your vacation!
I see that you are planning an arrival in early December! That is such a great time to visit! The beautiful holiday decorations will be up around the Disney Parks, as well as in the Walt Disney World Resort hotels! They make the Most Magical Place on Earth a little extra magical!
Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom Park typically remains in place for day Guests to enjoy throughout most of December. It isn’t until late December that Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will replace Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade for a few days at the end of the month. Given your early December vacation, you will most likely get to experience Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade!
The
Happily Ever After fireworks show will continue at Magic Kingdom Park, but only on nights when there isn’t a Christmas party taking place. If the Christmas party is scheduled for the evening, then the Happily Ever After fireworks show will not take place.
Shardae, I included helpful links in this answer to Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade as well as to the Happily Ever After fireworks show! The links include a schedule that will include updated show times. The “No Times Available” message that you will see for the parade will most likely be updated once we get closer to the dates. Please note that all entertainment, including parades and fireworks, is subject to change, but those links should be very helpful with your planning!
Happy Planning!
Jonathan
