Greetings! We are arriving on Friday, July 17th, and we are staying at the Grand Floridian (yay!). Friday is my 50th Birthday as well. Sshh! Is there any special perks I should be aware of for guests that are visiting on their birthday? So excited! Thx

    Hi Cynthia,

And an early "Happy Birthday" wish for you! I think you will love Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. While there aren't any particular perks for those celebrating birthdays, I can't think of a better place to celebrate your milestone birthday! When you check in, I would ask for a birthday button and wear it proudly. I hope you will be pleasantly surprised by the number of Cast Members and Guests who will offer birthday wishes to you. Occasionally, we have found that the birthday button has given us small perks like the front row of an attraction, but nothing is guaranteed.

If I were you, I would take advantage of my birthday celebration by treating myself with a special souvenir or a tour of cupcakes around the parks.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Wishing you a magical birthday AND vacation,
    Amy H
