Greetings Allison! My husband and I are in our early 30s and are taking our first (yay) trip to Disney this year! While we hope to have our own bundle of joy one day we love alone and adult time now. Can you recommend the best resort for us?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Melanie!

Congratulations on planning your first trip to Disney!  Its a great place to visit through every stage of your life and as young adults, you can have a blast.

I'd recommend staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort. There are so many awesome things about this resort:

Location: You'll have quick access to two theme parks from the Beach Club Resort.  Both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios are easily accessible via Friendship Boat or walking.  You'll also be directly across Crescent Lake from the BoardWalk area which features dining, shops & a very festive atmosphere in the evening. You and your husband may enjoy Jellyrolls (dueling piano bar) and Atlantic Dance Hall (boogie down to the hottest dance tunes). If you're sports fans, you can catch the action of your favorite teams at the ESPN Club.

Amenities: If you like to stay active on vacation, there is a great path around Crescent Lake to walk, jog or rent a Surrey Bike.  The Ship Shape Health Club offers state of the art exercise equipment and you can get a massage afterwards (by appointment only - 407-934-3256).  Stormalong Bay is considered by many to be the best resort pool at Disney and features a raised tanning deck for those who want to relax and soak up the sun.  There are quiet pools and hot tubs at the resort as well.

Dining: Not only are there great places to dine at Beach Club and its sister resort Yacht Club, but you have easy access to all the amazing restaurants at Epcot.

Romance:  Its a beautiful resort and its very romantic to sit on the beach beside Crescent Lake and just enjoy each other's company.

I'm limited in space but happy to provide additional details if you'd like to visit again.  Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
