Welcome to planDisney Mary, and thanks so much for reaching out with your question! The My Disney Experience app is such a helpful planning tool, but some of the wording can definitely raise questions along the way. I’m happy to help clear things up so you can feel comfortable and ready for a smooth park entry.
In the
My Disney Experience app, “green ticket media” is simply Disney’s internal label for how your park ticket is stored and recognized for entry. It does not describe a special type of ticket, a discount, or anything you need to fix.
“Ticket media” means the method Disney uses to let you tap into the parks. That can be a digital pass on your phone through
Disney MagicMobile, a MagicBand or MagicBand+, or an older physical ticket card. The word “green” is just a system color or status used and has no impact on your admission.
If your ticket is showing up as valid and assigned to the correct person, and you can link it to a MagicBand or add it to your phone’s wallet, then everything is working exactly as it should. You can enter the parks normally.
Mary, I hope this helps put your mind at ease as you continue planning your Walt Disney World adventure. Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. Wishing you a smooth, stress free experience and a visit filled with magical moments from the very first tap into the parks!
Kay
