Great time planning our dining but was disappointed when reviewing kids menus. My youngest (8) will not be happy to eat chicken fingers & hot dogs while we're eating crab & other yummy options. Any DDP rest. that have a more extensive kids menu?

    Hi Marilee,

Planning dining options can get tricky when your child has a more sophisticated palate, but it's not impossible to find restaurants that will please everyone.  I've found that many of the table service restaurants in Epcot as well as the signature dining restaurants offer a fish of the day selection as well as a steak option.

If those options still don't appeal to your child, try making reservations for restaurants that serve meals family style or have a buffet.  Biergarten in Epcot, Cape May Cafe, Boma in Animal Kingdom Lodge, and most of the character dining options fit into this category.  Everyone in your party will be able to enjoy food from both the adult and kid menus.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
