    Had a great time at Mickey's Backyard BBQ last year, are there other "party/dance/interactive" type options? What is Donald's Dino-Bash at AK? Wish the Dance Party at HS was going to be open, loved that! We've done the xmas party.

    Hi Amy! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I LOVE a good dance party! Last month at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party I showed off my (not-so-great) dance moves with some of my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelists and we laughed a LOT. Combining dance parties and Walt Disney World Resort just makes sense!

    There are a few options that are currently available that you should check out and they are found in Disney's Animal Kingdom. Burudika takes place in the afternoon and evenings in Africa's marketplace. In the morning, you'll find Tam Tam Drummers of Harambe entertaining there. The music for both offerings is lively, the dancers and musicians are talented and FUN, and dancing with the performers is highly encouraged! While you are in Disney's Animal Kingdom, definitely check out Donald's Dino-Bash! During the day you can meet unique characters like Scrooge McDuck and Launchpad McQuack, then at night the Dino-Riffic Dance Party kicks off. It is a blast!

    There are some really exciting dance parties coming soon that you may want to put on your calendar for next year. Disney Junior Dance Party! debuts in Disney's Hollywood Studios on December 22, 2018 and Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party opens January 18, 2019. Obviously, your family and mine aren't the only ones that love dancing because Walt Disney World keeps adding them to the schedule. It is exciting!
