You have asked about one of my very favorite things at Walt Disney World: complimenting Cast Members on the wonderful ways they sprinkle pixie dust on our magical vacations.
The Great Service Fanatic Card is one of many ways to thank a Cast Member who has gone out of their way to make your Walt Disney World day the Best Day Ever. Guest Services told me that the Great Service Fanatic Card is used internally these days, for Cast Members to extend appreciation to one another. However, there are several ways Guests can share positive feedback.
When you receive extra-magical service, you are invited to call Guest Services at (407) 939-2273 or email them at Guest.Services@DisneyWorld.com. Be sure to provide the Cast Member’s name, where you encountered him or her, and a few details about your special experience. You’re also welcome to drop by any
Guest Services location.
Mark, my favorite way to thank a Cast Member is using Twitter. If you tweet your feedback to @WDWToday with the hashtag #CastCompliment, the fabulous team behind that Twitter account will pass on the compliment. They will sometimes even tweet you a photo of the Cast Members receiving the compliment. On a recent visit, some wonderful Cast Members worked together to change my son’s mood from villain to hero, and he had the biggest smile on his face when he saw the photo of his “best friends” holding our Cast Compliment.
No matter how you provide the feedback, Guest Relations will enter the details into their internal data system and notify the Cast Member’s leadership team. To me, that’s a great way to recognize stellar service and pay it forward.
