Where is a great place to eat breakfast/brunch on Mother's day? It will be my mom's 1st time back to WDW in 20 yrs, so I was hoping to make it special for her (and for me!) It won't just be us--my DH, DS 2 and DD 4 will be with us also. Staying @ BCV.

What a special treat for your mother!!!  It will be like her first time since things have changed over the last twenty years!

At this time Disney has not announced a special Mother's Day brunch as they have done in the past.  This can change so continue to check with the cast members when calling for dining reservations. (407-939-3463).  Don't forget to make dining reservations 90 days out as places fill up quickly and you don't want to be disappointed.

Two places come to mind that I think your mother would love and also your children.  Chef Mickey's character breakfast is one of the best character experiences on property.  You will be greeted by all the major Disney characters and the food is consistently good.  Your mother, son, and daughter will be the stars!

The second dining opportunity that would be fun is the elegant character breakfast at the Grand Floridian's 1900 Park Fare.  The characters will vary but generally it will be Mary Poppins and friends who visit and greet you in the mornings.  (Cinderella and friends are there in the evenings)  Both would be wonderful choices and just a bus ride and monorail to each from the Beach Club Villas.

Enjoy your celebration of Mother's Day at Walt Disney World in 2009!!!!
