Great panel! Really appreciate all the tips. Question: I have ADR at Rose & Crown for 7:05pm. Wanted to be seated outside to view Illuminations, but ADR seems too early (there weren't later times). Is it too early? (Will they ask us to leave?)

    Hi Rachel:

Congratulations on your reservation at Rose & Crown.  I'm not sure what time IllumiNations is showing the evening you are dining at Rose & Crown as the show's start time varies.  Normally a dinner at Rose & Crown takes about an hour and a half, give or take, depending on various factors such as crowd, if you order appetizers, if you order desserts, if you linger over coffee and other factors.  Also some nights you'll be seated on time, and other nights you may have to wait a little bit.  So without knowing what time IllumiNations is showing that evening and if you plan to order appetizers, entrees, desserts, and coffee, it's hard to know if you can stretch dinner until IllumiNations.  If IllumiNations starts at 9:00pm that evening, you could likely stretch your meal if you read through the menu, ask questions, and order appetizers, desserts, and coffee.

I would keep trying to secure a later reservation.  If you are unable, one option to try is to let the host know that you don't mind eating a bit later and see if he or she can let others be seated before you so that you are seated later than 7:05.  Usually Rose & Crown let Guests wait up to an hour to see if they can secure one of the coveted tables with a view.

    Good luck.
