Great panel! Could you please advise ways on different ways to get to Pioneer Hall in Fort Wilderness from POFQ? How often do the internal buses at FW run to Pioneer Hall? Thanks.

    Hi Jane!

    Thanks for the question!

To get to Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness Campground from Port Orleans French Quarter using Disney's complimentary transportation system, you can take the bus from POFQ to one of the Parks, and then transfer to the bus traveling to Fort Wilderness.  As you may know, the buses do not travel from one Resort to another, or from one Park to another.  They only travel from Park to Resort or from Resort to Park.  Downtown Disney buses run the latest to and from the Resorts.

Once you arrive at Fort Wilderness Campground, you will find yourself at the Outpost Depot, where you will catch another bus to the Settlement Depot, which is the site of Pioneer Hall.

If you take the bus from POFQ to the Magic Kingdom (check Park hours), you could disembark and then walk over to the boat launch that takes you from the Magic Kingdom to the Fort Wilderness marina.  Once you arrive, Pioneer Hall is a very short walk from the marina.

The wait for the internal buses at Fort Wilderness are usually no longer than 10 to 15 minutes.  But, on nights that the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue is in full swing, the waits could be longer.

I hope this information is helpful in getting you where you need to go!  Have a wonderful time in Walt Disney World!
