Hello Moms!! Great panel!! Leaving for 2nd trip to wdw in 27 days, staying at POR my ? is why is there not much feedback on this resort....should i have picked another one? Last time we stayed at the CBR and loved it...starting to get nervous. Thanks

Don't worry; maybe you just haven't looked in the right places! My family has stayed in three of the four moderate resorts and of the three we've experienced, Port Orleans Riverside is our favorite by far.  The grounds there are absolutely gorgeous with lots of tall trees and plenty of greenery everywhere you turn.  The Sassagoula River winds through the resort and ducks can frequently be spotted waddling ashore at the water's edge.  The Magnolia Bend section of the resort boasts impressive mansion accommodations that are befitting of southern dignitaries while the Alligator Bayou section offers a charming backwoods feel where Tom Sawyer would feel right at home.  The main themed pool is large and features a great slide that my children adored.  Boatwrights, the sit-down restaurant on-site, offers tasty choices in an atmosphere far less hectic that what you'll find in the parks and some of the other resorts.  The food court, too, offered a variety of options and, while we didn't spend much time there, it did seem spacious enough to accommodate lots of guests during busy dining periods.  Our stay at Port Orleans Riverside was thoroughly enjoyed by all.  I hope your stay will be equally magical!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
