Great Panel! I'm trying to decide what ADRs to make. Have DDP want to know some good places for my boyfriend and myself to dine. Thanks

    Lindsay:

Hello to a fellow Mississippian!  There's nothing better than dining at Disney--unless you're on the Dining Plan!

I'm assuming it's just the two of you, so my recommendations are bent toward more romance than child-centered fun!

    • Epcot:  I start here because it's my favorite park for dining!  With the dining plan, we find that we have more food than we could ever eat, so we like to combine at least two table credits for a special dining experience.  Bistro de Paris' upscale menu and attentive waitstaff create a wonderful memory.  Ask for a window table!  If you don't want to use two credits, consider dining under the stars at San Angel Inn or at the hibachi grill at Teppan Edo.
    • Disney Studios:  Mama Melrose's serves up some good Italian--you'd never know you were in a theme park.
    • Animal Kingdom:  I tend not to burn my table service credits here.  Instead, Flame Tree BBQ's counter service is the best value around.  Find a table tucked under the tree canopy near the canal for a romantic spot.
    • Magic Kingdom:  Although the Plaza Restaurant isn't necessarily known for its value when it comes to table service, you can't beat their fresh sandwiches and salads topped off by a spectacular dessert.  However, some of the most romantic meals are at the resorts near the Magic Kingdom via the monorail: California Grill atop the Contemporary, Narcossee's and Citrico's at the Grand Floridian, and Artist Point inside Wilderness Lodge.  They all take two credits, but will provide a wonderful respite from the parks just for the two of you!

    Hope that gets you started!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
