Hi - great panel! We are family of 4 (kids 8 and 11 when we travel); have booked a villa for 3 weeks dec 2012-jan. We would like to book a hotel onsite for New year's eve (and possibly24th and 30th dec) and were wondering which will be best for NY?

    Hi Kerri,

If budget is not an issue, I would book a night at one of the resorts along the monorail line near the Magic Kingdom.  Disney's Polynesian Resort is the one that immediately pops to my mind because of its lovely views of the fireworks from their beach.  There are special fireworks scheduled for New Year's Eve at the Magic Kingdom and there's no more romantic place to view the fireworks than the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort.  Additionally, I bet your children would love the Nanea Volcano Pool in the heart of this resort.

Wishing you a magical extended trip to Walt Disney World!
