Hi, great panel! I see Disney will offer free ddp for Jan 8, but I arrive on Jan 7. Can the promotion be applied to part of my stay or do I have to make 2 reservations, 1 for first night, 1 for the rest of the week? Do I risk having to change rooms? Tks

    Hi Rafaela,

In order to be eligible for the Free Disney Dining Plan offer, it needs to be valid on the date that you check in. In your case, you'll need to book a Room Only reservation for one night on January 7th. Then book the rest of your vacation beginning on the 8th (be sure to ask for the Special Offer). You do risk the possibility of having to switch rooms, but in all likelihood they will let you stay where you are. You'll just need to speak with the front desk upon check in and ask them if you can just stay in that room. As long as the room type is the same (premium, standard, water view, etc) for both reservations, you usually won't have a problem. Even if you did have to change rooms, the amount of money that you would save getting Free Dining would be worth any minor inconvenience and Disney will transfer your bags for you anyway.

    Have a wonderful vacation,
