What a great panel. Coming to WDW at the end of August and staying at the Beach Club Villas and would like a room with a balcony. What would be the best view the lake or the pool? Just an FYI we are DVC members and love it. Great investment. Thank you,

    Hi Jack,

If you're on the upper floors of the Beach Club Villas, I don't think there's really a bad view.  When you refer to "pool" view, I'm assuming you're talking about the quiet pool.  I've never actually stayed in a room with that view, but I think it would be really nice and peaceful.  I have stayed in a Beach Club room with a similar view, and sitting out on the balcony on a clear night we were able to see Magic Kingdom fireworks in the distance.  They were far away, and there was no music piped in (obviously), but it was a nice surprise.

I have stayed in a room with a lake view, and it's quite nice.  You're not situated directly over the main pool, so you don't get a lot of noise, and you can see the really high fireworks from Illuminations.

Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong, either way.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
