    My great niece is turning 1 this July, . However with cost being what they are it would be terribly expensive to bring 10 people for her birthday. We know we will be at least stay at a Disney resort. Any suggestions on options to celebrate?

    How exciting for you to be planning a first birthday celebration for your darling great niece at Walt Disney World Resort this coming July, there really is no where more magical to spend a birthday! 
    The first thing you should do after arriving at your Resort is to pick up a free 'It's My Birthday'  button from Guest Services; now Cast Members and other Guests will know it's your great niece's special day too!  
    A few ideas to help you mark this wonderful family occasion would be to take a peek at some of the great options for an In-Room Celebration from Disney Floral and Gift.  I have previously ordered in-room surprises from Disney Floral and Gift and can thoroughly recommend their very professional services. 
    Everyone loves to eat cake on their birthday day and it couldn't be easier to order a special customized confection at Walt Disney World Resort.  Call the Cake Hotline at least 72 hours ahead of time to make arrangements and pre-pay on 407 827 2253; cakes can be delivered to most any Table Service  Restaurant of your choosing. 
    If you prefer to be cake-spontaneous; most Table Service restaurants keep 6" chocolate or vanilla cakes in stock; simply let a Cast Member know at check-in that you require a cake after your meal.  
    I'm quite sure that you'll have a wonderful time celebrating whatever you choose to do, after all you are visiting the happiest place on earth!
