you moms are great. My ? is what is the best way to get to grandfloridan dinner from pop for dinner and would we have time for it our plane lanes at 1:55 coming in oct. Thank you

    Hi Ann,

Thanks so much. Us moms love to help spread the Disney magic.

The best option for traveling from pop Century to the Grand Floridian is to board a bus from the Pop Century to Magic Kingdom. Once at magic Kingdom, walk past the entrance to the park and head towards the monorail. Choose the resort monorail option and it will take you to the Grand Floridian. There is also a boat that runs from the Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian and the entrance for the boat will be on your left as you heads towards the monorail. If there is a boat waiting, hop on it otherwise continue on to the monorail.

You did not mention what time your dining reservations were but I can tell you that I normally allow 60 to 90 minutes from the time we land at Orlando airport to the arrival time at our resort. You need to allow for the wait time for a Magical Express shuttle, travel time from the airport to the property and you may not be the first drop off from the bus. Once on property I like to allow at least an hour to move from one location to another, again due to wait times for a bus and in your case the need to transfer to either the monorail or boat from Magic Kingdom. Don't forget to factor in check-in time and if you need to go to your room to drop off items.

Given this "formula" you should estimate for an on-time arrival of 1:55pm, you would be able to arrive at the Grand Floridian around 5:30pm with no unexpected delays. Have a great time!
