Gratuities ques. for 2 adults 4 children. One of the children will be 2 when we travel and isn't officially counted on the dining plan and does not have park tickets. Do I need to include him on reservations ? Will we be charge gratuity for a party of 6

Hi there, Brooke!  I am a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan, so much in fact, that I never head to Disney without it!

You have asked a fantastic question and I understand where you're coming from as it wasn't long ago that I was in the same situation with my daughter.  I have great news for you!  Children under 3 may eat free at any buffet or family-style restaurant and may also share from your plate at restaurants with menus.  You also have the option of purchasing a children's meal for your little one and paying for it out of pocket.

You will need to include your 2 year old when booking advanced dining reservations as to ensure the appropriate table is held for your party.  The gratuity policy is based upon the total number in your party.  A party of 6 will include everyone, including children under 3 and even infants, so an 18% gratuity will automatically be added to the total bill.

I hope I have answered your question and please write back if I can be of further assistance.  Here's wishing you a truly magical Walt Disney World vacation!
