Grarden Grill I have seen things that say they have chicken strips or nuggets for children and fries but can not find out for sure. My child will only eat Mac and Cheese that is on the Adult menu. He is over 10 and I won't pay that price

    Welcome to planDisney, Tammy!

Ooh, Garden Grill Restaurant is a great place to enjoy a delicious, family-style Harvest Feast while getting to meet Farmer Mickey & Friends at the same time!

Because meals here are served family-style, there is no separate children's menu, so you'll only be served the items listed on the Garden Grill menu. While this is a fantastic place to enjoy a super-special atmosphere, if you are looking for some specific items your child would enjoy, you've got plenty of EPCOT options.

First, Connections Eatery is a great Quick Service restaurant that's not too far from Garden Grill. That menu includes chicken strips on the kids' meals, but also has a great hand-breaded chicken sandwich that can be customized however you'd like. Sea-salted french fries are on the menu, too. Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue also has some more kid-friendly options including both mac & cheese and fries. Yum!

If you are looking for an EPCOT Table Service dining option that includes items more up your child's alley, check out the menu for Coral Reef Restaurant. Fried shrimp, chicken wings, and a great fettuccine might be just the right thing for your son as you enjoy underwater views of over 2,000 sea creatures. It a family favorite!

Over at Chefs de France, you'll find some wonderful options--including an absolutely outstanding entree portion of mac & cheese: Gratin de macaroni. Oh. So. Good! And because they have chicken tenders and french fries on the kids' menu, you can ask if they are able to serve you an adult size portion for your son. We've done just that a few times when one of our adult diners is a bit pickier than the more adventurous among us. See something on the kids' menu he'd like better? Just ask; if they can accommodate your request, they will surely do so. If not, they can often modify a meal so that only favorites are on the plate.

Tammy, if you are able to walk just a short stroll from the "back door" of EPCOT--International Gateway--to Disney's Beach Club Resort, I think your whole family will love Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Just head out International Gateway--you'll see the path goes straight from the UK pavilion instead of crossing over the bridge into France on the left--and walk about 3-5 minutes to Beaches & Cream. Try to leave room for The Kitchen Sink. You'll be glad you did.

As you put the finishing touches on your plans for your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
