Hi Dana, welcome to planDisney!
I see you, big sister, taking a leadership role in planning your family's Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Much like Wendy Darling, your maternal instincts will lead to great adventures in Fantasyland and beyond. I hope your entire family plans to never grow up together during
The World's Most Magical Celebration. There are no bedtimes in Neverland, which means you should stay up late to experience
Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom park. Tinkerbell will meet you there!
It sounds like your sister's My Disney Experience profile is currently being managed under your account, Dana. Let's confirm this by taking a look at your
Family and Friends list. If your sister's name has "Plans managed by me" next to it, that means you are the person officially in charge of your sister's vacation plans. It also sounds like your mom has a
My Disney Experience account and would like to be the person managing your sister's plans. I'll share with you the steps I took recently to transfer my children's My Disney Experience profiles from my husband's account to mine.
1. Access the
live chat feature of the Walt Disney World Resort website between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time each day. If the Chat icon is grayed out, meaning all Cast Members are assisting other Guests, I suggest hanging out on the
main webpage until an invitation to chat appears. You can even open up a new tab and go about other internet business, just make sure your computer sound is turned up so you can hear the invitation when it pops up.
2. When chatting with a Cast Member, tell them you'd like to transfer your sister's profile to your mom's My Disney Experience account. Be prepared to share the name and email address associated with both your and your mom's accounts. To do this, the Cast Member will virtually send you a form to fill out, which confirms that you are giving them permission to access your account information for a limited time.
Once you connect with a Cast Member in the chat, Dana, the entire process shouldn't take more than 15 minutes. You'll remain connected to your sister via Family and Friends, which means you'll continue being able to view and make plans for her. Please make sure everyone in your party has
valid admission and a
theme park reservation for each park day.
Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions. That's what we're hEAR for!
With faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Jennifer
