Hi Shari,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. First and foremost, happy early birthday to your Grand-Mouseketeers! A visit to Walt Disney World sounds like the perfect early birthday present for your sweet little ones.
As you know, children under age 3 receive free admission to Walt Disney World’s theme parks, and I can certainly understand wanting to be sure you can take advantage of this! I’m a momma to a kiddo who is always mistaken for being older than she is, and I have never been asked to show proof of age for my children at Walt Disney World. I do recommend carrying a copy of their birth certificates just in case (probably a good idea anyway if you’ll be flying), because it would
not be magical to be asked and not have the proper ID! I want your magical birthday adventure to be smooth sailing so you can focus on the fun and enjoy your together time, so I would pack that copy just for peace of mind.
I hope you all have the best time together, Shari! Be sure to stop at Guest Relations to pick up Celebration Buttons for your whole party – these are a great way to share that you’re celebrating a special day, and I love getting birthday greetings and wishes from Cast Members and fellow Guests. If you have dining reservations,
a fun way to add birthday magic is to order a cake to be brought to your table, or you can pick up delicious, over-the-top cupcakes from most of the bakeries and sweet shops around the parks. I love asking Cast Members to recommend their favorite treats – they always have the inside scoop! Enjoy every minute of your
time with your grandchildren.
Wishing you all a magical birthday celebration,
Robyn
