My 2 grandsons and I are planning a trip to WDW. What is the most convenient loding location to the 4 parks? I am trying to avoid additional walking, some resorts are very large and bus stops can be pretty far away. Thank you!

    Hi Diane!

You are going to win Grandma of the year award!  How wonderful that you are travelling to Disney with your grandchildren!  As for resorts with great locations, I have a few suggestions.

If you plan to spend a lot of time at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, I'd recommend one of the three resorts on the monorail line (The Contemporary, Polynesian or Grand Floridian).  By staying at one of these, the Magic Kingdom is a short ride away from inside your resort (the monorail is located inside each of these properties.)  You will also be able to catch the monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center and then connect to another monorail to Epcot (this is very simple and convenient and does not involve any significant walking.)  It's also very convenient to dine at any of the restaurants at any of these resorts when you stay at one, by using the resort monorail line.

If you are more likely to spend time at Hollywood Studios and Epcot, I'd recommend either the Yacht & Beach Club or the Boardwalk Resorts.  From either of these properties, both parks are a short boat ride away.  If I had to pick among these, I'd vote for the Beach Club.  It shares the same amazing pool (Stormalong Bay) as the Yacht Club, but is a bit more casual.  By staying at one of these properties, you'll have access to fantastic dining and entertainment options at the Boardwalk in the evenings.

No matter where you stay, you will need to take a bus to Animal Kingdom and the water parks, should you decide to visit these locations.

Have a wonderful time with your grandsons!
