My grandsons band is performing at DisneyLand. While I understand the reasons for not announcing the time, I need to make Park Reservations. Which park would I chose? Or will I need to purchase a Park Hopper ticket and hope I can catch the performance?

Hello Richard, and welcome to planDisney!  How exciting that your Grandson will be performing at the Disneyland Resort!  I can't imagine how magical that will be, and how wonderful that you're able to attend to see him perform.

I would check with your family to see which park he will be performing at, I have seen bands at both parks, but I hope they have that information with their itinerary for their performance.  I do think that a Park Hopper ticket is a great idea, you'll get to experience both theme parks, and park hopping hours now start at 11:00 AM (subject to availability).  If he has an afternoon performance, there will be no problem for you hopping to either park to catch that magical moment!

Since you'll be visiting the "Happiest Place on Earth" already, why not plan some fun for after his performance?  You can find a list of attractions and entertainment to explore, and hopefully you'll get a chance to experience both parks during your visit for some added fun.  I highly recommend the nighttime spectaculars, Fantasmic! at Disneyland Park is my family's favorite show!

I hope this information was helpful for you Richard, and I hope you and your Grandson enjoy every moment during this once-in-a-lifetime experience together!

    Have a magical visit!
