My grandson just turned 3 in April, does he need A pass to get into any of the parks?

    Hi Elizabeth,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hear that you're planning a Disney vacation with your grandson! Seeing the magic through his eyes will fill your heart with such joy, and you'll surely make memories together to cherish for a lifetime!

While Mouseketeers under the age of three don't need their own theme park tickets to enter the parks, once kiddos turn three years old, they will need their own tickets. I am happy to tell you that kids three to nine years of age do receive a discount on tickets, and you can buy 1 Park Per Day tickets, Park Hopper Option tickets (with the ability to enter more than one theme park per day), or Park Hopper Plus Option tickets (which gives you admission to Disney water parks, Disney's miniature golf courses, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, or the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex) online before you even arrive. Not only will you currently receive a $20 per ticket discount (subject to change) by buying in advance on online, but once your tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account, you'll be able to schedule three FastPass+ selections per day 30 - 60 days ahead of time. The complimentary FastPass+ service is wonderful because it allows you to skip the standby lines, giving you the freedom to soak up even more magic and fun!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Elizabeth, and please come see us again if we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip. I hope that you and your grandson have a truly magical vacation!
