Welcome to planDisney, Megan!
I’m so happy to see that you’ll be visiting Magic Kingdom with your grandson next month! What a way to spend a day with someone you love. I hope you enjoy every single moment of your visit with him.
My family was actually in a similar situation just a few weeks ago, so I can speak to this very question from recent experience! My child’s
Annual Pass is linked to my fingerprint, but I was away on a trip and my husband wanted to take our child to EPCOT for the day. All my husband had to do was take our child’s physical Annual Pass Card with him to the parks, explain that the fingerprint was linked to me and that I was out of town, and a friendly managing Cast Member was able to admit my family into the theme park with no problem!
Make sure you have your grandson’s physical Annual Pass Card before your trip, and you should be good to go! (Just to be safe, you could also take a picture of the back of his mother’s Annual Pass Card, and also take a picture of her driver’s license just to be safe.)
I hope that you have such a good time together! If you need a good place to get some snacks for your day, consider bopping in to
Main Street Confectionary before you journey deep into the park.
If you have additional questions before your visit, Megan, we hope to hear from you again soon!
