My grandson LOVES the Move It Shake It Street Party in the MK. Is there one place that is better then others around the circle in front of the castle where you get the best experience with the characters? He loves them all so it doesn't have to be Mickey.

    Hi Kay,

Your grandson sounds like he's got great taste in fun at the Magic Kingdom (MK) because the Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party is a awesome way to literally dance in the street with some of his favorite characters.

We usually try to stand in the middle of the hub which gives us the shortest & most direct route between the floats. That way if one of my boys wants to dance with Donald Duck and the other with Woody, we can dance with Donald for a few minutes and dash through the inside circle of the hub to get to Woody.  This area is usually less congested because Guest traffic tends to be more crowded along the outer rim of the hub.

Once the floats are in position for the party, you get more character interaction by standing in the street between the floats.

Be sure to check the Times Guide for performance times.  You can find Times Guides when you enter the Magic Kingdom, Guest Services & most merchandise locations.

Wishing you and your grandson many magical memories :-) Allison
