"
See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me,” Jane and I’m glad you were called here to planDisney with your question. Welcome!
Jane, Moana tops my family's favorites list, so I'm happy to talk about how we can help make your voyage Magical.
Now, Jane, let’s talk about
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. In the past, characters such as Lilo and Stitch were popular visitors to
‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Unfortunately as the Walt Disney World Resort continues to operate in a
state of phased reopening, this restaurant is currently unavailable and we haven’t yet gotten word about a possible reopening date.
Now, while the following character meals don’t feature Moana or her wayfinding friend, Maui, I encourage you to check out:
Topolino’s Terrace- Flavors of the Rivera located at Disney’s Rivera Resort,
Chef Mickey’s located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort,
Hollywood & Vine located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the
Garden Grill Restaurant located at EPCOT.
Jane, I know that so far we haven’t traveled to Te Fiti or met Tamatoa, but if you’re hoping to channel your inner voyager, I recommend checking out
Kona Café where you can be surrounded by tiki vibes and then visit the
Moana Mercantile for some Magical merchandise after your meal!
Jane, I hope this helps generate some ideas for your trip with your grandson. I appreciate his love of this movie and the special relationship Moana had with her grandmother. Please come on back and see us here at planDisney with any additional questions you might have.
Wishing you a trip that has you singing the line, "
happiness is where you are."
Lauren
