Our grandson has diabetes and the doctor has informed us that he can not wait in long lines in the sun with his insulin pump and should request a disability status pass. There are 14 total in our group, would all receive the pass to stay together?

Hi Barbara! Walt Disney World is going to be fabulous fun for such a large gathering.

When you arrive you may pick up a Guest Assistance Card (GAC) at any theme park's Guest Relations for your grandson. This card will allow him and up to five members of the accompanying party to use alternate entrances to attractions where they are available so he will not have to wait in long lines. While visiting the theme parks your grandson will probably be a little off his regular regimen, walking more than usual, and having to estimate grams of carbs. Keep juice and a high glucose snack in your bag at all times because blood sugar levels may drop unexpectedly.

    Enjoy your magical vacation!
