Hello Paul! I can only imagine how excited you must be to visit the Walt Disney World Resort with your grandson! I appreciate your question. I’m happy to help!
The
littlest fans of Mickey and Minnie (ages two and under) do not need an admission ticket to enter any of the four Disney Parks in Disney World –
Magic Kingdom,
EPCOT,
Hollywood Studios, and
Animal Kingdom! Your grandson, who will still be two during your visit, does not need an admission ticket! Once children turn three, they are required to have valid theme park admission.
Paul, if you’re concerned about being questioned by a Cast Member regarding your grandson’s age, you might consider taking a photo of his birth certificate and leaving the photo on your phone. In the rare event that a Cast Member might inquire about age, you can show the birth certificate photo. While my kids are all older now, we were never asked about their age when visiting Disney World.
While visiting Disney World, your grandson might enjoy splashing around at one of the Disney Water Parks! Disney has two water parks -
Blizzard Beach and
Typhoon Lagoon! One of them will be open during your visit! Similar to the four Disney theme parks, your two-year-old grandson won't need an admission ticket for the water park either! Both water parks have areas that are specifically themed for preschool-aged children! I think your grandson (and you, too) will have a great time together at the water park!
Dreams do come true!
