Grandparents just gave my girls multiple Disney+ gift cards. Any ways possible to add that balance to their current Disney gift cards or even use those cards at the parks during our upcoming trip.

    Hiya Kaitlynn,

Welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited that you are so close to visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth with your girls! I hope you all have the most magical time making memories together!

As a Disney fan, I receive a lot of Disney-themed gifts for every holiday, but my favorite by far is a Disney Gift Card. You can use it for snacks, merchandise, theme park tickets, you name it! I never leave home without mine! It sounds like you girls already have Disney Gift Cards, but let’s chat about the Disney+ Gift Cards they got from their grandparents. Great news, according to the Info and FAQ section, you can use Disney+ Gift Cards that were activated in the US and Canada like a regular Disney Gift Card (subject to change)! Unfortunately, I was not able to confirm whether you can combine the balance of a Disney+ Gift Card with your children’s existing Disney Gift Cards. That said, I don’t think it hurts to give it a shot. If you have never combined Disney Gift Cards before, it is super easy! To do so, navigate to the Disney Gift Card website and click “My Cards” from the header. Once you log in to the site (using your My Disney Experience Account credentials), add the Gift Cards into the system using the information on the back of the cards. Then, try to transfer the Disney+ Gift Card balance to your daughter's Disney Gift Cards (up to $1,000 per card). If you aren’t able to combine them, then no worries, just bring the physical cards with you, and you should be able to use them the same as traditional Disney Gift Cards.

I hope this was helpful! Before I let you go, I was just at the theme parks today, and I wanted to share a little tip. Keep an eye out for all the free magical moments during your visit. Cast Members have been setting up fun little games, special rare Character greetings, and so much more around the theme parks. I stumbled upon a ring toss game that I know would’ve been my daughter’s favorite thing! There is so much magic happening around the theme parks, so keep your eyes peeled.

    Happy Planning!
