being grandparents we are going with our daughter her husband and 2 twin boys age 9. They have a budget. So am looking for a Disney hotel 2 rooms/ maybe one or both with small kitchens? location is very important to me . to many to choose from ? Help

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shelly! I see you’re planning ahead for your big family vacation. If you ask me, that’s they only way to do it! There are several places you can stay with a party of 6 and still save your wallet.

If both location and budget are important to you, I would suggest the Value Resorts Disney offers. The All-Star Music Resort is a bit far from everything except Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but it offers a family suite that sleeps 6 with the help of 1 Queen Bed, 2 Twin-Size Sleeper Chairs, and 1 Double-Size Sleeper Sofa. If you want something a little plusher and closer to Disney Springs, Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios (It’s fairly central as far as location goes), I would check out my favorite Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. This Disney-movie themed resort offers 3 styles of Family Suites, but all have TWO FULL BATHROOMS as well as larger size beds. With a separate queen bedroom, murphy style bed (that’s actually outrageously comfortable!) and super plush sleeper sofa (I slept on these very new beds this fall and snoozed like a dream!) the CARS suites tend to be a bit cheaper than their Nemo partners. As a guest of this resort, you can swim in any of the pools and take part in any of the amenities. It’s a great place to be! This Resort may be just the ticket! Disney’s Art of Animation also boasts The Little Mermaid Rooms, standard size rooms that sleep 4 with two double beds and a single bathroom. Some of the rooms connect, so that may be of interest to you.

If I can help you plan any other aspect of your vacation, please let me know. I’m hEAR to help! ~ Lindsey P.
