Hi there, DJ!
Welcome to
planDisney! You've found the most magical place on the Internet, where our group of extraordinary Disney fans loves to make vacation dreams come true for our fellow Guests. Let's talk about those
special Florida Resident tickets and how to use them!
Walt Disney World offers exclusive theme park tickets and Annual Passes specifically meant for Mickey Mouse's closest neighbors (residents of Florida or those who rent or own property in the state). All Guests ages 18 and older holding Florida Resident tickets must show a photo ID and proof of residency before entering the theme parks. If the grandchildren are minors, they can visit the theme parks as their grandparents' guests, but only when they travel together. Before initially using the tickets, the children and Florida residents must stop by Guest Relations, a theme park ticketing window, or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to present
proof of residency and activate the tickets. My parents can buy tickets for my children when we vacation as an extended family, but when my parents aren't with us, I purchase
standard theme park tickets.
I hope this is helpful, DJ! If the grandparents can't join in on the fun this time, check
this page to browse ticket offers available to the general public. Also, AAA members can purchase discounted Walt Disney World tickets online or in AAA store. Members of the
US Military are eligible for specially priced tickets as well. Best wishes for finding something that works for your family, and if there is anything else we at planDisney can do to guide you in the right direction regarding tickets or any other aspect of vacation planning, feel free to get in touch again. Thanks for stopping by, and we'll see ya real soon!
