My grandpa is a resident of Florida. He wants to buy our park tickets for our trip to Disney World. I am not a resident. Will I be able to use them since my ID is not from Florida?

Hi Janielle! Love your great state of Wisconsin...spend lots of time there watching the Green Bay Packers!

How generous of your grandpa to offer purchasing your Disney tickets for your upcoming trip.  He is most likely referring to the wonderful discount prices Florida residents have for park tickets and packages.  Please know that although this might have been done in the past you are taking a risk as it clearly states that the only guests who are allowed to use such tickets are Florida residents.  You must have proof of residency such as Florida drivers license.  You can be asked to show this ID at the entrance and if you do not have this you will be denied entrance. The only thing you would be able to do at that point is to go and pay the difference for the ticket.  I do know that Disney is getting more and more strict about this to protect the ability to give Florida residents a benefit. If it is abused they would have to take those away and of course that is something we hope they don't do in the future!
